We are pleased to announce that the 2019 MAER-Net Colloquium will be held at Greenwich University, London, UK, Oct. 11-12, hosted by Denise Hawkes. Greenwich University is a World Heritage site. It occupies the former 17th cent. Royal Naval Hospital, designed by Christopher Wren, one of England’s greatest architects — e.g., St Paul’s and the Royal Observatory,  which is just across the park from Greenwich Uni. See Greenwich University's website for more information.

Important Information

  • Conference will be held  Friday 11 October - Saturday 12 October, 2019

  • Location: The Hamilton House, Greenwich University. 

  • There will be an optional tour and informal reception on Thurs, 10 Oct. At 4 PM, there will an optional tour of the university and Wren’s 17th cent. masterpiece, please meet at the Hamilton House. After the tour, an informal reception will be held at the Trafalgar Tavern at 6 PM.

Program

44 presenters, widely representing Europe and Australasia, will share their research over these two days. Sandy Oliver, UCL, Institute of Education, and Isiah Andrews, Harvard University, are giving keynotes on the role of systematic reviews and corrections for publication bias. Also, there will be symposia on ‘Meta-Research’ and what to do about the ‘Replication Crisis,’ along with several other themed research sessions.
