MAER-Net Colloquium 2020 (Kyoto, Japan)
The 2020 MAER-Net Colloquium will be held at Kyoto University, Kyoto, Japan.
We are pleased to announce that the 2020 MAER-Net Colloquium will be held at Kyoto University, Oct. 9-10, hosted by Satoshi Mizobata, Ichiro Iwasaki, Xinxin Ma and Masahiro Tokunaga.
Kyoto is a beautiful World Heritage Site, the ancient capital of Japan with many elegant temples and palaces. Kyoto remains Japan’s cultural capital.
Conference will be held Friday 9 October - Saturday 10 October, 2020 at Yoshida Main Campus, Kyoto University.
Accommodations: Because of the Tokyo Olympics, please book a hotel early, see below slides 18-20 for suggestions.

Call for papers
We encourage submissions of new papers, works in progress, tools under development, and especially research by PhD students. Published papers are also acceptable if they have not been presented at MAER-Net previously.
Abstracts may be up to four pages long to document the completion of your meta-analysis. Send them to Tom Stanley: (Stanley@Hendrix.edu or firstname.lastname@example.org. We look forward to receiving your proposals and to seeing you in Kyoto.
The colloquium is free to students but there is a modest registration fee, 10,000 yen, for full-time academics and researchers. This fee can be paid onsite. There will also be an optional dinner party in Gion at cost, approx. 6-8,000 yen.
